High cutoffs and low turnout

First of all DU breaks all records of registration at 2.5 lakh and now the high cutoffs left most of the students kept waiting for second one.
Even after so much of hard study student can not get through as expected.
The cutoff started with 100% , 99.74% and similarly showed up high average marks which raised tension among students. Due to new curriculum structure students are already a bit nervous and now this high cut off which let many students stayed home waiting for next one. Comparably there is rise in admission off campus.
This year CATE is removed from the admission procedure therefore students aspiring to study English as there major will also face problems of high cutoff.
Commerce remained the most popular course and students aspiring to study Commerce into their college of choice will be difficult.
In Science courses, Maths and Physics remained the most popular. Among the B.Tech courses to be offered from this year, Computer Science and Electronics saw high cut offs considering their popularity among the applicants.
Hopefully second cut off heal the pain of students with some relaxation and increase the number of admissions in campus.
