WATER CONSERVATION: A DUTY FOR ALL

What is water conservation?
Water Conservation is protecting fresh water to meet human demand as we all know it is one of the basic need of our lives.Water cannot be conserved in a single day or by a single person so everyone should contribute and take few initiatives like our government has initiated Rio+21 IYWC India Certification Program for students http://www.iarc.res.in/iywc/index.html. It is not a big thing if each and everyone contribute.

SOME INITIATIVES :

  1. First of all, make your society aware of water loss and step ahead in water conservation: Awareness will automatically force people to think of the issue and for sure each of them will contribute by not wasting it.
  2. Don't leave tap running needlessly:While filling water containers stand there by the time it's filled, as it 'll take only few minutes but will save a lot of water.
  3. Don't throw water away : These days everyone uses RO water system and it forces water back which can be reused as washing cloth of dishes OR if you pour extra water then you can water a plant.
  4. Aerator Tap: Every tap should have an aerator as it restricts unnecessary water flow.
  5. Conserve Rain water for garden or pets.
